ICC PP Course No. 23883 (0.6 CEUs)
AIA Course No. 7: 2020 (6 LU|HSWs)
This course is designed for individuals of any experience level in the building-safety and fire industry who are involved with or want to know more about fire protection system inspections. Seasoned inspectors and those who have just begun this type of inspection are both encouraged to attend. Common errors and oversights during such inspections are discussed in great detail, but more importantly, attendees learn the impact of improper installations, especially in the event of an activation. To utilize the course time effectively, the course concentrates on the big ticket items and frequent omissions during inspections. Case studies and videos of non-compliance acceptance tests are part of the course as well. This course benefits all levels of experiences in the public and private sector equally, such as building and fire officials, architects, engineers and contractors.
