This course focuses on the conventional construction requirements for detached accessory structures, such as garages and sheds, residential decks, carports, and patio structures to ensure compliance with the California Residential Code. The intent of this course is to help building officials, permit technicians, and plans examiners quickly perform a review of these projects at the counter and building inspectors know what to look for in the field to ensure compliance with the code.
