2024 CALBO Education Weeks Recap
Another Great Annual Gathering with Hybrid Attedance!
This fall, the building-safety community gathered for CALBO’s Annual Education Weeks, held in Burlingame (North) and Costa Mesa (South). The 2024 events featured over a dozen new or updated courses, led by expert instructors from across California. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest standards, code requirements, and technical skills, reflecting CALBO’s dedication to exceptional training each year.
The hybrid format allowed jurisdictions to maximize attendance, balancing professional development with busy schedules. With nearly 3,000 in-person student days and a record-breaking 5,000 virtual student days, CALBO once again demonstrated the value of accessible, high-quality training.
Thank you, Instructors!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the instructors and course developers who led these sessions and to the online facilitators who ensured every virtual participant’s questions were answered. Special recognition goes to the CALBO Training Institute (CTI) for planning the courses and overseeing the curriculum.
