Make your voice heard! CALBO’s Annual Leadership and Advocacy Day is an opportunity for Class I Members to take part in the legislative process and have their voice heard. 

Join CALBO’s Legislative Committee in Sacramento at the State Capitol to meet with your legislators and discuss current legislation impacting building departments. Participants will be briefed on the legislation and learn about the legislative process before attending pre-scheduled meeting with legislators. 

Last year, through consistent advocacy, CALBO members stopped harmful legislation that would have negatively impacted building departments. Be a part of the effort to ensure legislators understand the important duties building department staff carry out on a daily basic and work you do to keep the public safe.
