Thank you for your patience with the transition to the new set of dates and programming for our annual conference. To take precautions for the health and safety of our membership, while being proactive to keep association business moving, we have implemented the following changes.

Here’s a summary of everything you need to know in a question and answer format.

Will there be an in person annual meeting component?
Yes! There will be an in person meeting opportunity, the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference, from Sunday, October 4 – Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad (San Diego area).

What to expect at the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference in Carlsbad?
Aside from association business, the rest of the traditional conference programming will take place at this time. Programming includes educational programming, panels, workshops, award presentations, BOLA Graduation Ceremony, exhibitor program, annual golf tournament, the themed President’s Dinner and much more.

What if I am currently registered as an attendee?
If you registered for the ABM in Indian Wells or July Annual Conference in Carlsbad, there is no need to take action. CALBO has transferred your attendance registration to the October conference dates in Carlsbad and will email a new confirmation to you. If you have any questions, please contact CALBO, and we will assist with your request.

What if I am a current registered exhibitor and sponsor?
If you registered as a sponsor or exhibitor in Indian Wells or Carlsbad for July, there is no need to take action. CALBO has transferred your registration to the October conference dates in Carlsbad and will email a new confirmation to the individual who registered your organization or company. If you have any questions, please contact Director of Public Affairs, Katie Little, at klittle@calbo.org, and she will assist with your requests.

What if I currently have a reservation at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort?
If you currently have a reservation at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort for the July conference dates, your reservation will be moved by the hotel to the new October conference dates. Please contact the hotel for a new reservation summary with the changes. If you have any questions about your reservation, please contact the hotel directly.
