Welcome to the home of CALBO’s Advocacy Team! On behalf of CALBO’s Board of Directors and Legislative Committee, we sincerely hope that this section of the CALBO website will help to familiarize you with CALBO’s multi-faceted Governmental Relations program. From one-on-one advocacy with elected state leaders, to grassroots efforts in your local jurisdiction, CALBO works tirelessly each day to promote the best interests of California building departments.

This section of our website is being developed as a legislative resource for Chapter leadership and interested CALBO members. Please click on “Legislation” for a full listing of all bills that CALBO’s Legislative Committee is currently monitoring. You will also find CALBO’s official position on each measure here. CALBO is currently developing a Grassroots Guide & Legislative Resource Manual, a new resource that will hopefully become an indispensable tool for persons interested in CALBO’s Governmental Affairs.
