| Description | 2007 California Building Code Accessibility & Usability (Nonresidential Accessibility)
This full-day course covers the California Building Code's accessibility requirements for public buildings, public accommodations, commercial buildings, and publicly funded housing. This course will expose attendees to occupancy specific requirements, facility and site access, including parking, entrances and exits, curb ramps, ramps, walks and sidewalks, doors, sanitary facilities, elevators, and many others features. This course will also address accessibility requirements in existing buildings. This course applies toward the Building Official, Field Inspector, Plans Examiner, Design Professional and California Codes Credentials. |
| Special Requirements | Registration begins each morning at 7:30 am. Please plan to arrive in time to be seated in class at 8:00 am. Lunch (11:15am-12:15pm) will be provided to all registrants. Cancellations received up to 7 days prior to the beginning of each session will be refunded, minus a 25% processing fee. Refund requests must be received in writing. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the beginning of the session will not be refunded, and registrants are responsible for full payment. No-shows will not be refunded and are responsible for full payment. Registration may be transferred to another session or another individual with prior authorization of CALBO staff. CALBO reserves the right to cancel a class for low enrollment. Registration may be transferred if class is cancelled. |
