CALBO is turning 50 this year, so what better way to commemorate our first 50 years as an organization than to come together at the Annual Business Meeting.  This year, we have brought back our traditional four-day format, packed with training, informational sessions, and guest speakers.  Our training offerings are all new and topical, including the launch of CALBO’s Building Official Leadership Academy.  The informational sessions will be interesting and insightful, highlighting the “latest and greatest” for building department personnel.

Companions will be whisked away for a Tinseltown Tour, including stops at all the famed Hollywood and Beverly Hills landmarks.  Golf anyone?  The tournament is back and will take place on Monday prior to the ABM kickoff.  The social highlight of our meeting will be the President’s Dinner, which will take place in a historic Beverly Hills mansion.  All ABM participants will be shuttled through old Hollywood, until you arrive at the top of a hill at the Greystone Mansion.  You will recognize the mansion immediately from film and television.  Completed in 1929, the home housed many affluent Los Angeles residents until it became a historical monument now operated by the City of Beverly Hills.  This event is not to be missed, and with the gracious support of many chapters and sponsors, we will be able to bring the mansion back to its 1929 grandeur for a night of old time music, refreshments, and dancing.
